Andrew’s first experience of woodturning was at school like most schoolboys in the 70s. Having worked with wood all his life and teaching in colleges and educational establishments throughout the North East of England Andrew has taught and demonstrated over the last twenty years all over Europe.
Andrew is available for live demonstrating, Interactive remote demonstrations “IRD’s“ and private tuition in your own workshop. Andrew regularly demonstrates at the two major woodworking shows Harrogate in November and the Midlands in March.
Andrew is best known for turning his hats, dickie bow ties and Corinthian helmets, he has now turned to music and invented the blues bowl in 2016 an instrument made entirely on the lathe which he has lots of fun singing with his friend Tony Woodentop both country and western and rock and roll.
